I’m Cristy Hartwell, founder of Heartwell.fit. With over 10 years specializing in senior fitness in Seattle, I help adults 60+ improve posture, balance, strength, and mobility — all in the comfort of their own homes.

My approach is rooted in compassion and science. I meet you exactly where you are, celebrate every win (no matter how small), and design gentle yet effective programs that fit your body, your home, and your lifestyle. My Background

Before dedicating myself to senior fitness, I spent a decade in biotech and molecular genetics. That scientific foundation helps me understand how the body ages and recovers — so I can create safer, smarter training programs. I hold certifications through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM), plus credentials as a Certified Sports Nutrition Specialist, Fitness Nutrition Coach, and Medical Fitness Specialist.

When I’m not training clients, you’ll find me knitting, biking, hiking with my husband, lifting weights, or dreaming up new ways to make fitness feel joyful instead of overwhelming.
